“Lecce’s Stone” room is composed by a double bed and a single bed. It is characterized by the presence of star vaults with front at sight. A whole wall built with stones reflect the most ancient and typical salentine rural architecture with its typical “dry-stone walls” that you can see in our countryside; in the ancient times the enclosing walls of the fields and the “paiare” were built using this technique.
The whole furniture is made by real Lecce’s stone. On the ceiling of the room you can notice a hole made by our grandparents whose aim was to give light to the room.
The room has got a private bathroom with a star vault painted in lime.
The doors are made by solid wood painted in the typical colours of the old houses. Linen are ”magramè” and linen and accessories too.
